WNB March 31, 2013

They own your money...

...they consider us to be livestock.

Your Activism is having an Impact, but it’s no Time to Let Up!

It is clear that we have had a lot of help. And to be sure, your activism is having an impact! No one on the Left thought that by the end of March, their forces would be in full retreat.

But it’s certainly no time to let up! We can still be stabbed in the back by other gun groups or “honorable” legislators. So we need to stay alert - just like the Minute Men of old -- being ready to fire off messages to our legislators in a moment’s notice.

Having said that, it’s encouraging to step back and consider where we are right now. No one in the Senate (including Democrats) thinks the Feinstein gun ban can pass. Senator Schumer has given up hope that the Universal Gun Registry can muster a majority. And the Lee amendment (mentioned above) shows how a filibuster could very well keep ALL gun control from coming to the floor.

- Every time something like this happens millions are made partially awake and aware. As our enemies say, "Let no good crisis go to waste." If only they would wake up enough to see what will be required and act on it. We must create a militia force to deal with the inevitable point of no return...

NYC’s Michael Bloomberg accused of ‘hypocrisy’ for arming security detail in gun-free Bermuda

Bloggers are taking New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to task, accusing him of hypocrisy for pushing strict gun control onto Americans but simultaneously seeking gun-carry exemptions for his security detail when he travels to Bermuda, where firearms are largely prohibited.

The New York Times first reported of this disparity in 2010, stating that the mayor uses taxpayer dollars to pay for two armed city officers to accompany him on get-away jaunts to Bermuda. But before he can fly them in, he has to obtain special permission so they can keep their guns: Bermuda is so anti-gun that even its own police force isn’t armed, The Times reported then.

Biden: Gun-Ban Legislation "Just the Beginning" -- Pelosi: "Not the End of the Day for this Issue"

On a Wednesday conference call organized by "Mayors Against Illegal Guns," Biden referred to current anti-gun legislation and told his anti-gun supporters, "Let me say this as clearly as I can: this is just the beginning."

As the article notes, recent surveys show increasing opposition to stricter gun control measures. But this fact matters not to Biden; nor to Pelosi, who also voiced a determination to continue pushing for gun bans, no matter what the American public says.

"Undead" U.N. Arms Trade Treaty Lurches Forward Despite Second Failed Conference

On March 28, the "Final" Conference on the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty came to a close without reaching its goal of consensus support for the treaty from the 193 nations in the body. Now, a group of nations led by Kenya, including the United States, has introduced a resolution to adopt the treaty to the UN General Assembly. A vote on the treaty is likely to take place in early April, with a meeting of the General Assembly having been scheduled for April 2. The goal of the states putting forth the resolution is for the treaty to be available for signing June 3. Passage of the treaty is expected, but a vote in the General Assembly has been described as a "weaker" method of adopting the treaty than the consensus adoption ATT backers had sought.

The final text of the treaty, issued March 27, does have a passing acknowledgement of individual gun rights in the preamble, which states, "Mindful of the legitimate trade and lawful ownership, and use of certain conventional arms for recreational, cultural, historical, and sporting activities, where such trade, ownership and use are permitted or protected by law." However, the preamble has no force of law and there are still several troublesome aspects of the treaty’s text.

Fox Drama: Constitutionalists Work for Terrorist Serial Murderers

Fox, the entertainment network founded by Rupert Murdoch and Barry Diller, is working with the federal government and the Southern Poverty Law Center in a concerted effort to demonize Americans identifying themselves constitutionalists.

During an episode of “The Following,” a television drama starring Kevin Bacon, constitutionalists are portrayed as extremists in league with a group of serial murderers. The series follows an ex-FBI agent who has joined a social network of copycat killers attracted to a charismatic leader.

- We refer to ourselves as 'constitutional extremists' all the time. There are still sheeple stupid enough to fall for this.

Ban Everything: Concern Over Future Blue Laws During the Lead Up to Alcohol Prohibition

Perhaps the most notorious ban in U.S. history was our national experiment in forced sobriety. The United States ratified the 18th Amendment in January of 1919 which outlawed the sale of alcohol and many people were (understandably) not pleased. The one-year gap between the ratification of the amendment and it becoming the enforced law of the land led many people in 1919 to speculate (and joke) about the repercussions.

Life magazine ran a number of illustrations in 1919 predicting what would happen after the law went into effect. Their most dire guess? A mass exodus. This “Great Exodus of 1925″ would be thanks to new bans on everything from baseball to pork and beans:

- And now we have commie care. Since the governments will be responsible of our health care they will claim the 'right' to decide what we are 'allowed' to consume. It's a matter of time. The only limit to their insanity is the force we apply to force them to stop.

Sandy Hook probe: What a search of Adam Lanza's home revealed

The information was released the same day that President Obama, in a bid to breathe new life into his legislative proposals to tighten gun laws, held an emotional press event with parents who had lost children to gun violence.

snip

Also on Thursday, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, led by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, organized gun-control events at 120 different venues. The group also released a new television ad, which debuted in the Hartford, Conn., market and features families who lost their children at Sandy Hook. The state legislature in Hartford is currently debating gun-control legislation.

- Of course there's no collusion among the evil ones in all this.

Ashley Judd says no, but Sen. Mitch McConnell can’t rest easy

Republicans are chortling over the long line of Democrats who have said they won’t run against Mitch McConnell of Kentucky in 2014, the top Republican in the Senate.

The Democrats are “zero for 10” in recruitment for the race, the National Republican Senatorial Committee declared Thursday, following actress Ashley Judd’s announcement that she’s out.

- We need to find a replacement for McConnell in the primary. Someone who won't play games with our Liberty. Someone who will not kowtow to ANY of the groups who attack us from within or from afar or from supposedly 'god chosen' countries.

McKinley offers true hope and change from Chicago machine politics

At first glance, Paul McKinley seems the unlikeliest of candidates in the unlikeliest of races, a black Republican running for the congressional seat vacated by Jesse Jackson Jr. As someone with a criminal past that includes convictions and prison sentences for armed robbery, burglary and aggravated battery, that is, as a person prohibited by law from owning a firearms, he also seems an unlikely candidate to be running on a platform of challenging machine corruption, traditional morality and gun rights.

snip

McKinley has also been noticed by NRA, which interviewed him and got him to elaborate on his views about guns and crime. It was difficult to choose which of two videos to embed in this column’s sidebar: his NRA News interview with Cam Edwards is more relevant to the subject of gun rights, and it’s a very good one, (please do make sure you watch and share it), but McKinley’s performance at a candidate forum -- at Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church, of all places -- is nodding and applauding material. The guy makes sense, and the people listening to him were recognizing it, and starting to show enthusiasm (dare we hope hunger?) for it.

Hundreds of parents send in photos of kids with guns

Last week I requested my readers to send in photos of their children/grandchildren to show support for the New Jersey family that had the Department of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) raid their home. The unlawful visit was all due to a photo the dad posted on Facebook of his son with a rifle.

snip

I received hundreds of e-mails from parents that shared their child’s gun photo to show support for the Moore family. These are the kids ‘facing the fight’.

Christian parents should have their kids play with toy guns

Our founders, many of them serious Christian men, many of them ministers, took up muskets and turned the despotic Red Coats’ coats a deeper shade of crimson simply because of their life strangling religious oppression and ridiculous taxations.

All of this “anti-gun” bullcrap coming from deluded Christians sounds dreamy and all but it isn’t rooted in reality or the scripture.

- Every church should have a shooting range and a militia drill day.

Christie calls for investigation of New Jersey agency's response to boy-with-gun photo

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is asking the attorney general to probe the state's visit to the home of a man who uploaded a photo on Facebook of his 10-year-old son holding a military-style rifle.

The state child welfare agency and local police went to the Carneys Point home of Shawn Moore on March 14 following what police say were anonymous calls expressing concern about the safety of a child.

- If Christie wants to 'help the children' he needs to build shooting ranges for young people to learn about their most basic right.

Church celebrates 2nd Amendment, kids make pop-tart guns during Sunday school

This past Sunday, a Chicago area church sponsored a Second Amendment Sunday filled with “assault” pop-tarts, “combat” cupcakes and a sheet-cake that featured a chocolate semi-automatic Glock handgun with a quote from Jesus that read “Blessed are the peacemakers.” John Kirkwood, Pastor of Grace-Gospel Fellowship in Bensenville Illinois said the idea came to him after reading a column by Doug Giles entitled “Christian Parents Should Have Their Kids Play With Toy Guns.”

- By the time they're eight years of age they should already know what a gun can do and be shooting at least an air gun on a regular basis.

Hunters threaten to boycott Colorado after passage of recent gun laws

The state is known to be home to some of the best elk hunting in the country. But after its governor, John Hickenlooper, signed controversial bills this month banning ammunition magazines that hold more than 15 rounds, and require background checks for private and online gun sales, some out-of-state hunters say they'll take their business elsewhere.

Hunting outfitters say people began canceling trips after the legislation passed, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported. The numbers are few, but growing.

Local outrage over Mark Kelly and Gabby Giffords

Mark Kelly's campaign against "assault weapons" such as the AR-15 rifle has sparked a local backlash. On March 13, a Tucson, Arizona radio host published a photograph of former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords holding an AR-15 rifle at a gun range. Giffords has since confirmed that the photograph is authentic. James T. Harris, blogging at the website of "101.4 FM The Truth," wrote: What is wrong with this picture? Absolutely nothing, and prior to the aggressive progressive opportunistic fear mongering in the wake of Sandy Hook, this picture would have raised no eyebrows and garnered little public attention.

snip

The source who witnessed the photograph put it this way: "Giffords and Kelly came across with a different demeanor in 2010. To me, it seems like they've done a complete 180 because of what happened. And with the latest controversy--with Mark Kelly doing what he did with the AR-15 stunt--this photo needs to be put out." While Kelly declined to comment, Americans for Responsible Solutions spokesperson Jen Bluestein told Breitbart News: "Looks like the photo is cropped." Bluestein noted that there are "many images of Gabrielle Giffords with guns," though she said she had not seen the image of the AR-15 before.

14 year old girl speaks on 2nd Amendment rights in NH Congress

My Civics teacher taught us that the reason our Founding Fathers gave us the right to bear arms is to protect ourselves from the government of man because when man is given absolute power, he becomes absolutely corrupt. In 1776, guns freed us from the abuses of King George. Today, guns keep us free from tyranny by government.

If President Obama wants to take our guns, isn’t he taking away our means to protect our right to freedom? Wasn’t the 2nd Amendment given to us to protect our 1st Amendment rights? It’s not by chance that those are the first two amendments. They were the two most important gifts our Founders gave the American people.

LA Times Announces: White Men are Terrorists

“There are, in increasingly frightening numbers, cells of angry men in the United States preparing for combat with the U.S. government. They are usually heavily armed, blinded by an intractable hatred, often motivated by religious zeal,” a Los Angeles Times op-ed claimed on March 8, a couple days after the SPLC letter went out warning of another Oklahoma City terrorist bombing.

snip

Nothing petrifies urban liberals more than defenders of the Second Amendment, especially when they demonstrate with brandished firearms. “Patriot groups are motivated by a host of anti-government attitudes, but their primary focus is guns,” the Times argues. “They are convinced that the government is out to seize their weapons, even though most legislation is focused on keeping guns out of the hands of criminals or restricting the types of weapons that can be sold.”

- They should be petrified, and leave this country. They don't belong here. "Liberal"(commie) season is coming, it must come, or this country doesn't have a future.

In-car Computers on Their Way to Kentucky's Rural Law Enforcement Agencies

78 rural law enforcement agencies in Kentucky will receive mobile data terminals (MDTs) to help process electronic warrants. The terminals are computers that will be available in officers' cruisers. Officers can enter information into the computer during a traffic stop or after responding to a scene and find out if a person has an outstanding warrant.

snip

The Office of the Attorney General purchased the MDTs utilizing funds from the Rural Law Enforcement Grant that was part of the American Resources and Recovery Act. The office received the $3.94 million grant in 2009 to implement the eWarrants program statewide. The eWarrants program is now up and running statewide and the distribution of MDTs is the final phase of implementation.

A Gun-Control Battle That Could Actually Damage The Industry Is Escaping Public Attention

Two federal appeals courts last week reviewed the legality behind concealed carry laws. In Denver, the court decided that concealed-carry firearms aren’t protected by the Second Amendment. A thousand miles away in Chicago, the court reached a different decision. It declined to reconsider a ruling that found that state’s ban on concealed carry unconstitutional.

These two courts aren’t the first to mull this issue. A New York federal appeals court last November upheld a state law that required concealed-carry applicants to prove “proper cause” to obtain concealed-carry licenses. Looking ahead, appeals courts in California and Virginia are set to review the issue.

Court: Drug dog sniff is unconstitutional search

Justice Antonin Scalia said a person has the Fourth Amendment right to be free from the government's gaze inside their home and in the area surrounding it, which is called the curtilage. "The police cannot, without a warrant based on probable cause, hang around on the lawn or in the side garden, trawling for evidence and perhaps peering into the windows of the home," Justice Antonin Scalia said for the majority. "And the officers here had all four of their feet and all four of their companion's, planted firmly on that curtilage — the front porch is the classic example of an area intimately associated with the life of the home."

He was joined in his opinion by Justices Clarence Thomas, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. The four justices who dissented were Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Stephen Breyer, Justice Anthony Kennedy and Justice Samuel Alito.

- Why don't we just end the drug war and send the dogs back to the duck pond and the woods and the cops back to real crime investigation? Oh, too many of the 'right' people make too much money from  the 'drug war,' that's why.

Anti-gun 'outraged liberal' gets everything wrong--except most important thing

OK--"gun crazies" wasn't the part he got right (except among those who believe that fighting for one's Constitutionally guaranteed, fundamental human right of the individual to keep and bear arms is "crazy").

No, what he got right--the only part he and other gun-haters need to get right--is that to attempt to disarm the American citizenry is to provoke an explosion of "gun violence" that would make him nostalgic for the relative serenity of the blood-soaked days of the cocaine wars in the late '80s and early '90s (when "gun violence" was dramatically higher than it is now).

Peril from 'patriots'

Patriot groups are motivated by a host of anti-government attitudes, but their primary focus is guns. They are convinced that the government is out to seize their weapons, even though most legislation is focused on keeping guns out of the hands of criminals or restricting the types of weapons that can be sold. Many are also united by belief in an outlandish one-world government conspiracy theory positing that the United Nations is poised to strip away American property rights and impose socialism on us all.

Congress Seeks Answers on Huge Homeland Security Ammo Contracts

Catron pointed out that one of the contracts in question — up to 750 million rounds for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), which reportedly goes through about 15 million bullets per year — represented “a maximum quantity” that would give the center “flexibility over the next 5 years for training of over 90 federal agencies.” A separate contract for up to 450 million bullets is intended to be used by all Homeland Security “components” except the U.S. Coast Guard, which uses Department of Defense contacts, she said.

snip

“This contract is part of the Department’s strategic sourcing efforts to combine multiple previous contracts in order to leverage the purchasing power of the entire Department to efficiently procure equipment and supplies at significantly lower costs,” Catron claimed. “With more than 100,000 armed law enforcement personnel in DHS, significant quantities of ammunition are used to support law enforcement operations, quarterly qualifications, and training, to include advanced firearms training exercises.”

- And therein lies the rub. Why the hell do we have 90 federal agencies with 100,000 armed agents???!!!!!! To keep us in our places, that's why!!!!

No Windows desktop mode!? No!

Some observers, like ComputerWorld's Preston Gralla, agree with him: "There's a reasonable chance that Microsoft will finally get around to killing the Desktop in Windows 9," Gralla writes. "With Windows 8, Microsoft did its best to make the Desktop at best an afterthought, relegating it to a tile on the Start screen. Windows 8 has been built for touch and the horizontal orientation of a tablet, and the Desktop has no place in that world."

Others, such as Byte's Larry Seltzer, disagree: "Can anyone actually believe this? Earth to Paul: The Windows desktop is a major strength of the operating system, 'especially' as compared to the competition. There is an ocean of expertise and customized software out there on the Windows desktop, and Microsoft would never alienate these people."

Reports: Filibuster threatened, CBS poll shows waning gun control support

The letter, however, does not use the word “filibuster.” It says that the three “intend to oppose any legislation that would infringe on the American people’s constitutional right to bear arms, or on their ability to exercise this right without being subjected to government surveillance.”

snip

In their letter, they state, “The Second Amendment to the Constitution protects citizens’ right to self-defense. It speaks to history’s lesson that government cannot be in all places at all times, and history’s warning about the oppression of a government that tries.

“We will oppose the motion to proceed on any legislation that will serve as a vehicle for any additional gun restrictions,” they write.

Paul, Lee, Cruz to block gun control legislation

Sens. Paul, Cruz and Lee have signaled that they will block the Senate from moving to any consideration of gun control legislation. On Monday, the three Senators sent a letter to Majority Leader Reid which read in part, “We will oppose the motion to proceed to any legislation that will serve as a vehicle for any additional gun restrictions.” It is further confirmation that the three are providing the only opposition to Obama's big-government agenda.

snip

If the action of Paul, Cruz and Lee prevails, the Senate will never proceed to consideration of the bill or the underlying amendments. The action of these three provides a real opposition. Senators like McCain and Graham should move to the sidelines. New leaders are ready to fight for liberty.

- What idiots think McCommie and Graham give Liberty any consideration at all? Oh, those who were stupid enough to put Israel before Liberty in the Republican primary and vote against the only worthwhile presidential candidate the republicrat party has fielded in decades.

Obama Admin. Ignores Nullification: Federal Agents Will Enforce CommieCare

President Obama will not wait on states to enforce ObamaCare. The Obama administration has announced its intent to disregard state laws and state constitutional amendments prohibiting the enforcement of ObamaCare. Federal agents from the Department of Health and Human Services will assume absolute control over states’ health insurance industry and regulation in states that refuse to comply with the federal healthcare mandates.

In an exclusive telephone interview with The New American, Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak reported that the his office has received a letter from Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) Deputy Administrator and Director Gary Cohen informing him that the federal government will impose ObamaCare regulations on insurance companies in Oklahoma. The CCIIO is part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Guns and ammo sales spark jobs boom

DRT currently cranks out 80,000 bullets per shift and operates two shifts per day. But that's not enough to meet demand. So Weddle is adding a third manufacturing shift and building an additional facility.

snip

DRT is a tiny part of an industry that employs about 240,000 nationwide, according to an estimate from Brian Rafn, who follows the gun industry for Morgan Dempsey Capital Management. And like DRT, many of the giants in the business of making guns and ammo are also expanding.

- So at what point between digging the ditch you’re told to dig and being shot into it are you going to fight back?

Guns without the will to use them or the resolve to do what will be required to restore Liberty here are nothing but toys. That is the situation we face now.

Bloomberg paying millions for power to 'infringe on your freedom'

And now think about Bloomberg's specific wording. He did not say "limit your freedom," or "impose on your freedom." He argues that the government should "infringe on [our] freedom." The word "infringe" appears (in its past tense form) exactly once in the Constitution. "Infringed," according to the supreme law of the land, is exactly what the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be.

Does anyone believe that Bloomberg's choice of that particular word was accidental? That on the day before his $12 million ad campaign in favor of federal infringements on the right to keep and bear arms began, it was not intentional on his part to spit in the faces of those of us who believe that "shall not be infringed" means exactly what it says?

New York gun snitch line invites abuse

“N.Y. State has established a toll-free tip line -- 1-855-GUNSNYS (1-855- 486-7697) to encourage residents to report illegal firearm possession,” The Record posted yesterday on its Facebook page. “The tip line also allows for information to be submitted via text -- individuals can text GUNTIP and their message to CRIMES (274637).

“The New York State Police staff the tip line 24 hours a day,” the post continues. “Upon receiving a call, troopers will solicit as much information as possible regarding a firearm tip then contact the appropriate police agency with the lead to initiate an investigation.

Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) introduced an amendment that would prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty in order to uphold the Second Amendment. His amendment passed on a 53-46 vote.

- One small battle in an immense war. Well at least the senate did something right. Now Kentucky senators need to introduce legislation to repeal all the gun laws, all prohibition against self defense and bearing of arms, and treason trials and death sentences for those who have broken their oaths to uphold the Bill of Rights.

See  how your elected public SERVANT voted. Note the ones we need to eject and try for treason.

Hickenpooper calls Colorado assault weapons ban a "hard sell"

Colorado last week adopted three gun-control bills — limiting ammunition magazines to 15 rounds, requiring universal background checks and charging gun owners for the cost of the checks.

A bill banning assault weapons, however, did not clear the legislature.

- But you can bet the "Liberal"(commie) trash, that should be arrested, tried for treason and executed, will try it later. When will the people of Colorado stand up and do what is required?

“Liberal”(commie) trash will never change. We will have to eradicate them to fix this mess if it can be fixed. They killed 170 million in the 20th century, they’ll have no problem killing again for their communism. It’s time to prepare for what will be required.

Liberty or death didn’t mean the Founders were going to blow their brains out if the British didn’t grant them Liberty. It meant they were going to blow British brains out.

NYC Mayor billionaire bloomers: Government has right to ‘infringe on your freedom’

Mr. Bloomberg’s remaining months in office have included a firestorm of regulations and policy pushes on wide range of issues. Aside from the soda size ban and a well-publicized call for tighter gun control, another contentious policy he pushed: Nudging hospitals to lock up baby formula to force mothers to breast-feed newborns.

- If there were any men in this country the creature's time left in office would include a swift treason trial and execution.

New Hampshire House to Vote this Wednesday on Legislation to Infringe on Your Right to Self-Defense

Eliminates the provision that allows a person to use deadly force anywhere he or she has a legal right to be. This limits an individual’s ability to defend themselves or a third party from assault to their own place of residence.

Amends the definition of non-deadly force by removing the provision that specifies the act of producing or displaying a weapon is considered non-deadly force. Thus, drawing or exhibiting your firearm to intimidate a perpetrator could be considered deadly force.

Repeals the provision granting civil immunity for the use of force in certain circumstances. The elimination of this provision removes legal protections for law-abiding citizens acting in self-defense.

NRA chief LaPierre: Bloomberg ‘can’t buy America’ with ad blitz

The ad campaign, much of which Bloomberg has personally funded, will encourage people to call their senators and pressure them to vote in favor of tougher gun laws, according to the mayor.

TThe ads will target Republican Sens. Jeff Flake (Ariz.), Saxby Chambliss (Ga.), Johnny Isakson (Ga.), Dan Coats (Ind.), Chuck Grassley (Iowa), Susan Collins (Maine), Kelly Ayotte (N.H.), Dean Heller (Nev.), Rob Portman (Ohio), and Pat Toomey (Pa.). It will also target Democratic Sens. Mark Pryor (Ark.), Joe Donnelly (Ind.), Mary Landrieu (La.), Kay Hagan (N.C.), and Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.).

- "None of these guns are machine guns..." Good grief. They should be.

The Second Amendment, as the rest of the Bill of Rights, is an acknowledgement of our natural born rights, not a granting. The entire Bill of Rights is about keeping the governments in their place. The Second Amendment is about the common person's right to own weapons of war so that we can keep the governments in their place by keeping the 'monopoly on force' in the hands of the people where it belongs, as in 'We the people.' Remember that? It will not be infringed any further and the 'gun laws' in existence will be repealed. End of discussion.

It's time to repeal all of the ‘gun laws’ including GCA ‘68 and the NFA and any and all prohibition on concealed or open carry, everywhere; Shut down the evil BATF Nazis and try them for treason, and murder where appropriate and distribute their retirement funds among their victims; Then enforce the Bill of Rights on places such as Commiefornia and New Yawk and Chigawgo and if necessary bring the troops home and have them restore Liberty here and remove Amerika’s natural born traitors in the process.

Guns don't kill, governments do. Gun free zones are the problem, they allow armed criminals to kill. Arm the teachers, the administrators and the parents. Don't allow the "Liberal"(commie) trash who control the so-called educational system to teach mindless pacifism that is ensconced in their arrogance of false civility.

The NRA is part of the problem. In LaPierre's own words:

You don't 'fix' evil. You repeal it either with the political system or you call out the militias and arrest, try for treason and execute our domestic blood enemies who want to disarm and thus fully enslave us all.

For those who don't know "Meet the Press" and the other Sunday morning newswhore shows have historically existed for the elites to either reveal what they plan to do to us next or attempt to do.

IRS apologizes for wasting taxpayer cash on $60,000 ‘Star Trek’ parody video

The video features an elaborate set depicting the control room, or bridge, of the spaceship featured in the hit TV show. IRS workers portray the characters, including one who plays Mr. Spock, complete with fake hair and pointed ears.

The production value is high even though the acting is what one might expect from a bunch of tax collectors. In the video, the spaceship is approaching the planet “Notax,” where alien identity theft appears to be a problem.

- The IRS should apologize for its existence. It's employees should be tried for treason. Don't miss the comments. The Fed Nazis try to defend their evil.

NRA gains upper hand on the Marxist mutt?

An assault weapons ban is on life support and Senate Democrats have failed to entice a single Republican to back universal background checks. Congress also this week solidified four gun-friendly laws as part of legislation to fund the government through September.

To some observers, the shift in momentum comes as no surprise at all.

"[NRA CEO] Wayne LaPierre made terrible mistakes early on. They took two very bad spills," Ross Baker, political scientist at Rutgers University, said Friday in a phone interview. "But they quickly recovered and they assumed their usual position of dominance.

- My comment posted to this 'article'(propaganda):

This reads like a propaganda piece for the commies. The Hill is part of the problem.

It seemed early on after Sandy Hook as if the NRA had finally grown a spine. Who cares what the republicrats say about it?

When are the NRA's highly rated congressmen going to introduce legislation to repeal all 'gun free zones,' repeal all the gun laws and arrest and try for treason those who are attempting to disarm us instead of fighting this constant war of retreat?????

Pathetic.

We should already have a militia force in every county in this country to deal with this and similar evils, but we exist in a nation of cowards.

In a free country there’s no such thing as a group whose motives cannot be questioned.

Understand this if you understand nothing else: They consider us to be livestock.

We need to focus on taking our country and governments back so we can figure out who to hang.

Millions will dig the ditch they are told to dig then wet their pants when the machine gun bolts slam home and die stupidly wondering “How did this happen to me?” The tiny minority will have to do what will be required.

It’s time to stop arguing over the culture war. It’s time to stop hunkering down for the apocalypse. It’s time to stop waiting to get beamed up. It’s time to start thinking Normandy.

McCain emerges as key senator in expanding background checks

McCain and Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Dean Heller (R-Nev.) are at the top of a list of Republicans considered most likely to sign on to legislation expanding background checks after talks with Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) stalled earlier this month.

Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) has signaled he will likely support the yet-to-be-finalized proposal he negotiated with Sens. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) to expand background checks to cover private gun sales, according to Senate sources.

snip

McCain could provide crucial Republican support because he has a "B-plus" rating from the National Rifle Association, one of the most powerful interest groups in Washington. His endorsement could bring along Heller, who has an "A" rating from the NRA.

Collins and Kirk have weaker credentials on gun issues within Republican circles. Collins has a "C-plus" rating from the NRA and Kirk has an "F."

- Who is McCommie paying off to stay in the senate? Here's its real rating. Listen to the GOA ad about the creature.

Reid to bring gun bill to floor with expanded background checks

Reid expressed hope that Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), who is taking the lead on expanded background checks, will find a Republican co-sponsor before the Senate considers the legislation in April.

“I hope negotiations will continue over the upcoming break to reach a bipartisan compromise on background checks, and I am hopeful that they will succeed. If a compromise is reached, I am open to including it in the base bill,” he said.

Stage set for Senate gun control debate; background checks are sticking point

The base bill will include Mr. Schumer’s universal background check legislation, which would require background checks on virtually all gun transactions, with limited exemptions, such as gifts exchanged between family members.

Currently, all sales by licensed firearms dealers must go through background checks, but transactions between private individuals do not. Lawmakers are looking for a way to extend checks to almost all transactions without also creating a record-keeping system that gun rights supporters fear could turn into a gun registry.

New York's 'SAFE Act' scores twofer in claiming its first victim

Our alleged "gun criminal" is Benjamin M. Wassell, and his supposed "crime" is selling both an AR-15 pattern rifle and a (similar, but larger) AR-10 pattern rifle, both of which had supposedly been upgraded by Mr. Wassell with such now-verboten "assault features" as a pistol grip (prompting one clever wag to comment: "He tried to sell a rifle with a grip on it? Whew, that was a close call. Someone could have been able to hold it.")

And oh, what a prize for the gun haters this first victim is. You see, not only is he a gun owner, and thus already an enemy in the "progressives'" culture war against Americans, our alleged "gun criminal" is also a war hero and former Marine--and thus doubly an enemy of the anti-gun left.

New York: Gov. Cuomo and Anti-Gun Legislators Admit SAFE ACT Mistakes - But Continue Assault On Lawful Gun Owners

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) and state legislative leaders have now publicly admitted mistakes in their rush to pass what is arguably the worst gun control law in the country – the SAFE ACT. After intense public pressure, the state’s chief executive and lawmakers discussed including amendments to the SAFE Act this week during the state budget negotiations. Specifically, much of the focus was on the seven-round magazine limit. However, the prospects for making the law more lenient disappeared when a rough budget agreement was reached this week. Many of the provisions of the SAFE Act are set to take effect April 15.

Even after acknowledging the flaws in this overreaching gun control law, Cuomo appears determined to continue his assault on law-abiding gun owners. Just this week, a toll-free “tip line” was launched that enables any person with a phone the ability to initiate an investigation on any unwitting gun owner. This state program was outlined in a letter sent out on March 19 by the Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). Upon receiving a tip from “an anonymous tipster," the State Police will route the information to the appropriate police agency in order to initiate an investigation. The tipster, who can remain completely anonymous, is entitled to a taxpayer-funded reward of $500 when an arrest is made in connection with their tip.

Danger ahead: Colorado leftwing coup a blueprint for America

It turns out that what happened in Colorado was not a spontaneous reaction to criminal violence but the consequence of a long term, planned strategy among Democratic operatives to oust conservatives from office and replace them with leftwing extremists.

Further, it also turns out that what happened in Colorado is a blueprint for the entire country, in every state, and eventually in the halls of Congress itself.

The blueprint is known in political circles as "the Colorado model" and refers to a very different strategy than that which is normally utilized by state political parties.

Bloomberg announces $12 million national anti-gun strategy

It bears reminding that the only reason America is subjected to Bloomberg’s tyrannical ramblings is that he has a net worth of $27 billion — the 7th-richest person in the US — and spent a record $102 million of his own money to “eke out a narrow re-election victory” for a third term as mayor, as the New York Times noted.

That comes out to about $183 per vote and is in addition to $85 million spent in the 2005 election, and $74 million on his first bid for office in 2001 — a total of $261 million dollars spent to be mayor.

- Will the "Liberal"(commie) trash whine about this rich republicrat using its money to 'affect the political process?' Of course not, because it's one of them and deserves to be tried for treason and executed for breaking its oath to uphold the Bill of Rights which was written to acknowledge and enforce our natural born right to kill it for trying to enslave us further.

Army officer: Obama's DHS intends to kill "you and me!"

With the massive purchases of almost 3,000 new armored vehicles (MRAPs) and 1.6 BILLION rounds of ammunition, with associated weapons, who in the U.S. do they intend to kill? Short answer: You and me! Anyone they think is standing in their way to impose a new Marxist government! Anyone who stands for the U.S. Constitution!

We must demand that our representatives (Senators and U.S. Representatives) stand firm and immediately force, by law if necessary, the DHS turn over their arsenal of war making equipment to the Department of Defense. Study: MRI could diagnose Gulf War Illness

Veterans of the 1991 Persian Gulf War suffering from chronic pain and fatigue have brain damage to their white matter, the connective nerve fibers that transmit electrical impulses among the brain’s gray matter, a Georgetown University Medical Center study finds.

Using advanced scans called diffusion tensor imaging, researchers discovered that the brains of 31 veterans who served in the Gulf War had significant changes to the axon bundles — the white matter — in the parts of the brain that process pain and fatigue.

Senator: Time to change military force law

The law gave President George W. Bush the authority to launch the invasion of Afghanistan and target al-Qaida, saying the commander in chief has the authority to attack “nations, organizations or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on Sept. 11, 2001, or harbored such organizations or persons, in order to prevent any future acts of international terrorism against the United States by such nations, organizations or persons.”

Since then, President Barack Obama has used the law’s authority to target terrorists with fatal drone strikes, including Americans overseas.

- Gee, has one of them finally gotten a clue, or grown a brain or a backbone?

Experts: Drones will require new privacy laws

Current privacy protections from aerial surveillance are based on court decisions from the 1980s, the Judiciary Committee was told, before the widespread drone use was anticipated. In general, manned helicopters and planes already have the potential to do the same kinds of surveillance and intrusive information gathering as drones, but drones can be flown more cheaply, for longer periods of time and at less risk to human life. That makes it likely that surveillance and information-gathering will become much more widespread, legal experts said.

The Federal Aviation Administration recently predicted about 7,500 civilian drones will be in use within five years after the agency grants them greater access to U.S. skies. Congress has directed the FAA to provide drones with widespread access to domestic airspace by 2015, but the agency is behind in its development of safety regulations and isn’t expected to meet that deadline.

- We've had airplanes for years. Outside is outside, it's 'public' more or less, unless we want to force aircraft to fly only along highways.

Feinstein, Obama to Continue Push for Gun, Magazine Ban; Magpul Stands Firm with Gun Owners

On Monday, the Senate announced that Sen. Dianne Feinstein's (D-Calif.) gun and magazine ban legislation (S. 150) will not be a part of the Senate’s base gun control bill, but that Feinstein will be allowed to offer it as an amendment to the gun control bill, the primary element of which is a proposal by Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms between law-abiding Americans. The legislation is expected to be considered the week of April 8.

snip

Fight-for-FreedomThere is also strong indication that gun control supporters in the Senate may now try to push the magazine portion of Feinstein’s bill. CBS News reported on Wednesday that “some advocates for gun control want the ban on high-capacity clips to be put up as a separate amendment--essentially acknowledging it has a better chance of passing if it’s not tied to the assault weapons ban.” CBS quoted Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) as saying “I believe we need to have a separate floor vote on a high capacity magazine restriction, and I look forward to working with other senators in the coming weeks to develop a reasonable restriction on large volume magazines.”

Only we need to apply it to Amerika's reds.

Watch to see what we should be teaching kids
to do to "Liberals" so they'll actually have a future in a free country:

"No small shot gun, during my residence of seven years of war in America, was ever kept in the house of a backwoodsman. You will often see a boy not over ten years of age driving the cattle home, but not without a rifle on his shoulder; they never stir out on any business, or on a journey without their rifles. Practice from their infancy, teaches them all distances…

"I never in my life saw better rifles (or men who shot better) than those made in America. They are chiefly made in Lancaster, and two or three neighboring towns in that vicinity in Pennsylvania. The barrels weigh about six pounds two or three ounces and carry a ball no larger than thirty-six to the pound; at least I never saw one of a larger caliber, and I have seen many hundreds and hundreds." - Colonel George Hanger, captain of a Hessian Jager corps of the American Revolution, as quoted in Muzzleloader Magazine's 'The Book of Buckskinning.'

“A well-grown boy, at the age of twelve or thirteen years, was furnished with a small rifle and shot pouch. He then became a fort soldier and had his port hole assigned to him. Hunting squirrels, turkeys and raccoons soon made him an expert in the use of his gun.” – Dr. Joseph Doddridge, in his 1824 book ‘Notes on the Settlement and Indian Wars,’ quoted in Michael Edward Nogays book ‘Every Home a Fort, Every Man a Warrior’

Wouldn't the freaks freak out if we started teaching young men and women what they are going to be forced to know some day because their parents sat on their asses and pretended Liberty could be won back with 'peace and love.?'

We know what changed. The "Liberal"(commie) trash finished their infiltration of our so-called educational system that's now a commie indoctrination system. What a pathetic lot we amerikans are. Especially the peace nicks in the so-called Liberty movement who are mimicking the commie insurrectionists of the 'anti-war'(pro-commie) movement of the 1960s whose real goal was to pacify their enemies so they wouldn't fight back. They apparently succeeded.

Our civilization has been taken from mindless aggression to mindless pacifism. The latter is the most dangerous by far. We must put knowledge of our most basic right, that of self-defense, back into the hands and minds of the young, or they are doomed to be mindless pacified slaves, and most importantly 'victims' who can be used as pawns by those who seek to maintain their power over us all.

"Children should be educated and instructed in the principles of freedom." - John Adams, Defense of the Constitutions, 1787

"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them." - Richard Henry Lee (1732-1794) Founding Father

Start them young, train them well, for you know not what they may have to do...

They're so cute, couldn't resist posting this. With the right parenting they won't grow up to be mindless pacified sheeple willing to bend over for their would-be bosses, whether in the government or at their place of employment.

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6 KJV

"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined... The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun." – Patrick Henry, Speech to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, June 5, 1778

Folk music records what Vermonters responded to British soldiers who would impose their will upon them:
"Why come ye hither, Redcoats? Your mind what madness fills? For there’s danger in our valleys and there’s danger on our hills. Why hear ye not the singing of the bugle wild and free? Full soon you’ll hear the ringing of the rifle from the tree! For the rifle, for the rifle: in our hands shall prove no trifle."

"Perhaps the sentiments contained in the following pages, are not yet sufficiently fashionable to procure them general favor; a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defence of custom. But tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason."
- Thomas Paine, the first paragraph of his Pamphlet, “Common Sense.”

Would you sign? Or step out your door to an uncertain fate?

April 19 needs to be our biggest holiday. That was the day they left their homes, went to face government employees and shot back. That took more courage than signing a piece of paper or banging on a keyboard.
